Roland's background is diverse, having been raised in Australia and moving to the US in the late 60's and literally submerged in American culture.
Roland quickly adapted as shown by his career choices. Having worked in the mechanical design-engineering field for many years has become very detail oriented but never forgot his artistic side for entertainment, during there years Roland entered the alternative music scene in the late 70's and played a lot of clubs and bars in LA, he'll be the first to say it was a very exciting time, art, angst, family, and sometimes rage all blended into what gave birth to a new freedom in music expression. This gave rise to working in the entertainment lighting field, in sales Roland helped to facilitate many theatre's lighting and control and audio needs.
Choosing Real Estate as a career he had hopes of combining love of art and architecture which gave rise to volunteering as docent to many historically significant home in the Pasadena area that come on tour. "What gives me great pleasure is seeing the love and care that goes into preserving historical homes" from the Arts and Crafts era as well as Mid Century, Post and Beam and into American Modernism.
Roland believes that a home can be many things to many people, it's the responsibility of any Realtor to marry the right owner to the right home for the right reason with absolutely no expectation of the outcome.
He believes the many facets and intricacies' of the buying or selling experience requires the hands-on of a truly trusted fiduciary and advisor that will back up decisions a buyer or seller will make on one of the biggest investments of ones lifetime. "It's my job to facilitate a successful close to all transactions with professionalism and enthusiasm".
