True Cross has worked in real estate in Los Angeles for over a decade. After personally reviving her own home, a landmark Beachwood Canyon Mediterranean to its original glory, she was bitten by the real estate bug. True loved the process of buying, remodeling and selling homes so much, she decided to have real estate not only as a passion and an investment--but as a profession. With her background in design as a successful Costume Designer for film and television, True can visualize what a house will need to meet her buyer's aesthetic. Additionally, she knows what her sellers will need to edit and stage when selling their homes to earn top dollar, and takes an active, hands-on role in helping them. Although she loved her primary goal of dressing actors she found her most talented skill to be bridging the communication gap between actor and director / producer. As a result she was hired and recommended repeatedly with a reputation as a phenomenal problem solver and negotiator. She brings all her brokering skills to her real estate career. True applies all the focus, hard work and enthusiasm she's had redoing her own properties to her clients--on every home; on every deal.
True is the founder and executive director of True Women, a regional women's networking organization that supports women entrepreneurs. She also serves as the PTA president for her children's school, working closely with the parent body, administration, and board of trustees to ensure the institution runs as effectively as it can. She writes a regular column on real estate, events, and personalities in Los Angeles forwww.LaLaScoop.com
True works from Silverlake to Bel-Air. Although she specializes in architecturally significant and luxury properties, she thrills in helping first time buyers find their new home. Being a multiple home owner herself, she understands that matching the right home to the right client is paramount. She lives a stone's throw away from the Hollywood sign with her two children and husband, novelist and television producer Harley Tat.
