Steve's had a long career in entertainment working as a professional singer on stage, in the recording studio and on camera. Holding a BFA from the University of South Dakota, he also launched a successful graphic design business helping market client productions in the fields of live performing arts and education. The Hollywood Pantages Theatre, Pasadena Playhouse, Los Angeles Music Center, Groundlings Theatre, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts have all been his clients as well as a number of celebrities and publishing companies. But it's been his life-long love of real estate and it's key role in the lives of people that brought Steve to a career as a Realtor® with PLG Estates.
The real estate world is full of cookie-cutter agents, assuming there is safety in numbers and holding on to identical and conventional business methods. Not Steve; he understands that today's real estate consumer relies heavily on technology in both the purchase and the sale of a home. However, although technology is a centerpiece of his business it's not the cornerstone.
There are character traits that he believes are hallmarks of a successful agent – someone who is self-motivated, dedicated, persistent, a strong leader, friendly and accessible.
One of the first things you'll notice when you work with Steve is that he doesn't pull punches. He is up-front and honest, telling clients the truth as he sees it and not always what they want to hear. An agent willing to fight for you might not unfailingly agree with you. A "yes" from Steve Kirwan is a "yes" that will have your best interest in highest priority. He's a tenacious negotiator and courageously goes to bat for his clients when it comes to contract terms and price.
Applying practical knowledge as a property owner, investor and landlord, Steve is committed to assisting people he partners with in attaining their personal and investment goals. He uses his own experience and foresight to pro-actively address details in the buying and selling processes before they become problems.
